The Miracle Fund (which publishes The Guide to Health and Healing) was founded in 1994, with the mission of supporting health and healing support, for people and the planet.
We donate to nonprofits both domestically and abroad, to nonprofits that support people with no access to health care. Special emphasis is placed on medical and dental care for disadvantaged children. We also donate/ support nonprofits that assist the environment, animals, green... folks who help the planet!
The Miracle Fund supports this mission by providing services of promotion in their nonprofit maganzine: The Guide To Health and Healing And by raising funds and giving to many charitable non-profit organizations. The Guatemalan Tomorrow Fund, Himalayan Dental Relief Project, Tibetan Village Project, World Dental Relief, Project Concern International, Step 13 Mission, Project Cure, Salvation Army, American Red Cross, Urban Peak Shelter, Safe House, Friendship Bridge, Compass House of Boulder, Rain Forest Action Network and March of Dimes are some examples of the worthwhile organizations they support.

Personal Story of
Steve Smith and Glennis Walters Smith:
Steve founded the Miracle Fund, with the main focus of getting health care to kids and people who have no access to health/dental care. I , Glennis Walters Smith, started my magazine, as my service--to give back after not working for 5+ years and receiving allopathic (regular doctors) + alternative care. It was a time of just receiving not being able to give. With the publication, my intention was to assist others by offering informative articles, ads, nonprofit articles, and include an article on Intuition, with a how to exercise for using intuition, hence our intention on the cover that says "your outer resource for your inner guide". This inspired the double entendre of "The Guide" to Health and Healing... guide being an outer resource guide for inner guidance...
So with the combination of the Miracle Fund nonprofit (Steve) and The Guide to Health and Healing (Glennis) Magazine, we combine both of our ways of service and seek to create community and business' that have the same intention of win win, and the ever- expanding pie theory. The ever-expanding pie theory says there is no lack, as consciousness is being raised. vs. you take a piece of pie that there is one less... One way we are doing this is promoting other non-profits, non-profits that help in some way health and healing of individuals and our planet, again by being an outer resource through printed and internet materials as well as $ money.
We believe we offer an unique approach to fund raising with ad sales, and creating/promoting a fund raising event. WE WELCOME-any ideas you may have on the creation of one, or more fundraisers. We welcome your input/inspiration.
